Florida All Retriever Rescue (FARR) & Friends

Why GA you may ask?  There is a HUGE abundance of labs up there that unfortunately are allowed to breed and breed and breed.  So, most of our dogs come out of those shelters that are overcrowded with very little chance of adoptions.

The adoption fee was $200 due to all the medical costs of our dogs.  Some will only costs us $75, some will cost us $1200. Due to the economic issues our adopters are going through, we have lowered the adoption fees to $150 for most of our dogs. The only exceptions would be purebred puppies that come through under 1 year. We take care of our dogs medically prior to adoption to ensure as best we can that you are getting a healthy dog. We of course cannot check hips and all that, but will if the dog shows any issues around it.

Adopting a dog from a rescue group is the best way for you to get a dog. We pull from kill shelters, but the dogs live in our homes with us, so we have a good idea on the good, the bad, and the ugly. And don’t worry, we’ll tell you all of it. Our job is to make sure we make the best match possible for you and the dog.

Please browse through our dogs here and read their write ups thoroughly.  If you are interested in any of them, please click on the email link with the dog.

We try to be completely fair in our adoptions and will answer emails in the order they come in to pursue a possible adoption. This way there is no confusion in multiple people meeting a dog at the same time. We do not require fencing or have prohibitions against toddlers.  We make our determinations on a case by case basis. We are not here to judge. We are here to provide the best match possible for you and the dog.
